A Nuc is a great way for an experienced or semi-experienced beekeeper to add bees to their Apiary. It should be noted that they are intended to be transferred into full sized hives soon after delivery. Each Nuc will have 2-3 frames of brood and no less than 2 frames of feed. I try to ensure one frame is available for expansion of the colony. The queens I use are mated Italians, which seem to be a fantastic bee for this area. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to reach out to me. I'll be with you as soon as I can. Please note this is the pricing for quantities over 5.

  • IMPORTANT

    Orders need to be placed no later than December of each year. They will be ready for your Apiary by March-April, depending on weather and natural factors. Buyer assumes all responsibility as soon as the Nuc is in their possession. I will not accept returns because I simply can't tell what the Bees have been subjected to, once they leave my control.

  • Delivery

    Delivery rates apply and are charged on top of the price, due at delivery. The rate is $0.50/mile from my Nuc yard to the location you provide.
